Our Church Calendar Year runs from May 1st through April 30th.  Our goal this year is to help our community become more aware of whom we are and what we stand for.  This website will become one of the tools in this effort.

The Mission of Mt. Vernon Faith Church of the Nazarene is "Serving to Promote Helpfulness and Holiness in our Community."  Sunday School Classes begin at 9:30am each Sunday morning, providing biblical applications for all ages.  We have Worship Service each Sunday morning at 10:30am.  You and your family are warmly welcomed to attend.

We also meet on Sunday evenings at 6:00pm for inspiring music, testimonies, and a message.

Each Wednesday evening at 7:00pm, the church offers "Open Word," an informative  Bible Study led by Pam Sprinkle.  Coffee is provided.

I am encouraging the members of our congregation to engage in a daily prayer focus as detailed below:

• Monday--Ministry
• Tuesday--Temple
• Wednesday--Wisdom
• Thursday--Thanks
• Friday--Friends
• Saturday--Serving (sowing)
• Sunday--Sabbath

I will be discussing these focus points more in the coming weeks.
